EXP3: THE BRIDGE

EXP 3: LADY GAGA COMPONENTS

The angular slots through the walls floors and ceiling create interesting lighting effects at different times of the day. They also act to create restricted, yet compelling views of the valley. This forced view powers over the witness. The angular forms represent Lady Gaga's personality: edgy and different, an individual.

The angular forms of the office's are replicated onto the glass bottom elevator that juts out over the landscape. The user can look down to the valley or back up towards the bridge. There exists a constant play with views and perspective.

EXP3: OPRAH COMPONENTS

The horizontal windows that only face inwards create interesting light effects at different times and gripping views of the valley.
Oprah's elevator is simple, yet dramatic. It acts as a continuation of the horizontal windows, yet rotates them to make the views vertical.

EXP3: MEETING PLACE

The dining table at the meeting place brings nature and the man-made together. The two are united.

EXP3: CIRCULATION

The bridge is not just a bridge that spans the valley. But there are internal bridges within the bridge, composed within the two offices. These spaces are intimate. The elevator acts as a bridge, bridging the different levels together. Once on a level, and the elevator has moved on, your movement is restricted because you are trapped. The elevator controls your movement because you have to wait for it to proceed.

At the top of the bridge, the pillars act to force the beholder in a certain direction. One cannot walk in a straight line, but must zig-zag their way across the bridge. The bridge overpowers Lady Gaga and Oprah, both powerful people in society.
